Bifrost - God of War

This replica of the Bifrost in God War was a difficult challenge. It took me a while to get the geometry right and sculpting in the scales one by one. The topology process in Zbrush for this project pushed me to use triangles to my advantage to pinch certain areas of the Bifrost. I initially modeled this Bifrost to be 3D printed and use a real cloth or leather strap to wrap the handle, but I used a rough model for the wrap at the top of the Bifrost. I hope cosplayers, collectors, and gamers alike enjoy this prop replica!

The Yggdrasil tree was interesting to create as I used multiple branch subtools, merged them together, and simplified the topology. Marmoset allowed it to really shine and glow through the jewel casing.

The cloth model on the handle is temporary as it wasn't intended to be printed initially.
